is an exceptionally safari tented camp stunningly
located on a historical piece of land upon the pinnacle of Hintok
mountain in Kanchanaburi, Thailand where the historical river, River
Kwai runs through. Only about 2 hours away from Bangkok, we offer you a new style of relaxation while being close to the rhythm of nature with twenty-two spaciously deluxe canvas tents, featuring private bathrooms and outdoor showers with hot water, air-conditioning, private veranda and luxury furniture. "Hintok" is named after the area where the camp is located. Local people call "Hin-tok" (meaning "falling rock") due to this particular area provides a great view of River Kwai River upon a cliff over the great river. The safari tented camp is by far the best choice to explore the tropical nature along with the memorable WW2 historical site. There is nothing to compare with staying in a luxurious tented camp in a beautiful setting with the sights and sounds of nature surrounded. |

Elegant thirty two spaciously canvas tents, each 26 SQ.M. and 32.6 SQ.M. in total when your private veranda and bathroom are counted. The tents are all settled permanently on a wooden base. This absolutely ensures the grace of Hintok River Camp, the epitome of safari-like camp indeed. The tents feature twin and queen size beds with 6 SQ.M. en-suite bathroom with open-air shower decorated with Thai-safari style. Each tent also has an air-conditioned, fan, open-air hot shower, make-up table and refrigerator. The light from Kerosene lamps, moreover, reinforces the colour at night. Your experience in living in tents will never be more gratifying at Hintok River Camp. Geographically, Hintok River Camp is situated on one
of the best spectacular spots on River Kwai River, Kanchanaburi province, Thailand. Stunningly located on a riverside where the only other footprints to be seen are those of farmers and birds "Hintok River Camp" must be one of the most idyllic locations to be found. The Tents face to catch the magnificent scenery over the River Kwai and the rocky mountains. A suspension bridge are connected between the two sides of the historic River Kwai which are Hintok River Camp @ Hellfire Pass and Had Ngew temple and the Had Ngew village. |
